Hi all,

Recently made the move from windows to Linux, decided to finally give it a try and boy am I loving it and wished I did it sooner, it runs my trading bot better, plays my games with better fps and a lot smoother,

With that said I have a gigabyte aorus na-7 it’s a few years old now but it’s trusty.

These dual screens, one plug hdmi from back of laptop to usbc in the back of the extended screen 1 with a usb power to support. Works brilliant

The other screen plus usbc to usbc in back of screen 2

Now I recently found out that my usbc doesn’t support display. It’s only a usb port.

So I contacted the company I got the screens from they said no problem and sent me a usb video adapter named ht-5. The email says i need to install usb display driver

The link is for windows. I can’t find any for Linux.

Please tell me someone in this new found great community could help me out. I been tearing my hair out. I have my laptop screen and screen 1 working but screen 2 has been sitting turned off unable to connect for a week and it’s driving me crazy

The only thing I can think of to get that screen working is to go back to windows. Which means reinstalling windows but I’m dread that as I really loving cachyos and can’t see myself leaving that anytime soon.

Please any suggestions would be appreciated.

(Photos were taken when I was still running that shit called windows)
