Google Antigravity 2.0, Gemini 3.5 Flash & new rate limits causing quite an uproar
Google released Antigravity 2.0 alongside Gemini 3.5 Flash with new rate limits and the reception is quite negative.
Antigravity is Google's code editor that, before version 2.0, allowed normal file editing like any other file editor.
For this 2.0 version though, they have completely stripped out everything that makes the application a code editor.
If you installed the update and you want your old Antigravity editor back, you can!
You have to download it again from the antigravity.google.com website.
Just make sure you download the "IDE" version instead of the "2.0" version.
Then we get to the new rate limits & Gemini model.
A quick look at the subreddits for the Antigravity application & Gemini/Bard show a large amount of posts complaining about the new usage limits and forceful update to Antigravity 2.0.
I do wonder whether the price of Gemini 3.5 Flash is actually unsubsidized or just a price hike to burn less dollars per token.
