So I was just looking at some demographic stats and realized something crazy.
In 2033, there will officially be more people alive who were born in the 2000s (2000-2099) than people born in the 1900s (1900-1999).
Like, the 20th century is officially becoming the minority. It feels so weird to think about because anyone born before Y2K always felt like the "default" population, but the literal turning point is only seven years away.
What’s wilder is that Africa is already way ahead of the curve. Because of how young the continent's population is, 2000s born people are already the majority there.
Gen Z and Gen Alpha are really taking over the world. Feel old yet?
