Amazon DE 2 loop interview process ongoing .
There is less info about DE2 so here it goes. I will be updating it once i am done .
First there was OA. Involved sql and python and mcqs as well.
Then phone screen which is taken by data engineering manager
Then loop.
Now suggestion here is go for loop in 2-3 days.
People say in 1 day, but me as a person, if I bomb 1 interview then, I give up hope for other rounds as well.
Round 1 : technical , sql, python, system design (de perspective)
Interviewer said, feedback is pretty positive
Round 2 : mine was with principal
Product manager, it was mostly Project discussions and LP. I dont know feedback here. Round completed in 36 minutes when it was supposed to be of 1 hour. I am quite confident about answers
Round 3: mine was bar raiser. Again 4 lps, detail discussion. I think this one went amazing .
Round 4: this one was with person who took my phone screen. It was Sql and python heavy. 4 questions were asked .
Sql question revolving around click attribution - solved
Sessionisation and median - solved
3 . Pyspark query optimisation : i solved it , but interviewer was not convinced by the approach. Even gave the detailed explanation.
- Recursive cte - bombed this one. I didnt even had idea how to solve this. I thought this was asked to reject me.
So right now, I think my round 4 has gone bad and my chances are done and dusted.
Will update after round 5.
Anyone who made it after bombing round 4, do motivate me. I am down as hell.
