48M here. Recently I’ve been feeling that as we grow older, life becomes routine and our social circle becomes smaller. Most friendships stay limited to work or old contacts, and meeting new people naturally almost stops.

I’m curious how people in Chennai above 40 handle this phase. Do you actively socialize, join communities, volunteer, attend events, or mostly stay within family/work life?

Personally I’m quite reserved, but I still miss genuine conversations and meaningful human connection sometimes.

Would be nice to hear how others deal with this in Chennai.
