Too Little, Too Late bridge
So I would just like to interpret the bridge part of Too Little, Too Late. Specifically "I'll see you at Heaven's gate" is such an unnoticed bit because if you think about it it could've been worded as "I'll meet you at Heaven's gate" but it was specifically worded as see rather than meet. I think it's very fitting considering "meet" would mean they both encounter each other at Heaven's gate and be reunited. But that's the thing about being too late, you wouldn't be able to cross paths even in Heaven. Which is why I think "see" is a very amazing ang tragic word usage because seeing basically is one-sided compared to meeting which would mean they both found each other again. "I'll see you at Heaven's gate" is basically telling us that the narrator/singer is contented to just seeing or perceiving the other person rather than meeting them again in the afterlife. (This is just how I interpreted the line so it is only my opinion)
