Dealership stopped calling back after truck I was supposed to pick up had to have it's motor replaced.

I went to buy a truck from a dealership in Rochester NY. We went on a Saturday and were running low on time to get to the bank to get the certified check so they gave my $500 off the price if I was patient with them getting everything ready as far as inspection and registration for the vehicle. Definitely understandable so i agreed and gave a small downpayment by debit card and signed that I agreed to the price and we left.

The day we were supposed to pick up the truck I had the check pulled and ready and an hour before we left they called me saying the check engine light came on and they would need to fix that before they could let me take it. Again this is fine if not good news to have it fixed before I take it home. The next day I call for an update and apparently the engine needs to be replaced and it wouldn't be ready for another week. I wait the week and call to see if it's ready and they said I should be able to pick it up the next day. The next day comes up and now there is a new sensor problem they have to fix and the truck is not ready yet.

All of this is fine. I don't mind being patient as long as I know what is going on. I'd rather have a good truck eventually than a broke truck now. But now I'm not hearing back from the dealership at all. The last I heard from them is Thursday night despite calls on Friday and today. I plan to go in person tomorrow (1.5 hour drive which is the only reason I haven't done this yet) but I wanted any insight if anyone has any as to why they've gone radio silent on me. It seems very odd to stop responding to a customer who has the full payment ready for a truck they've already started paperwork for.
