Looking for a new job
Groundwork, I am 22 with just a high school degree and am located on the southside. I have over two years of experience in Restaurant management experience and around 3-4 years of overall supervisory experience. All of these positions have given me skills and experience in scheduling, inventory, data entry, lots and lots of customer service. But I am trying to get out of the restaurant industry and preferably customer service in general. I do enjoy working with computers so maybe more data entry but anything works really, I want something more stable, consistent 40 hours and a set schedule.
Anyway, does anyone have any advice? Specific companies to look at or even staffing/temp agencies to go through?
Edit : I feel like I need to clarify, this isn’t me looking to jump into a new long term career, I know what I want to do with my life (no matter how outlandish it may seem or how hard it is to accomplish). I just simply want a job in a new field because the restaurant industry has burnt me out, constant stress, bad sleep, horrible working environments etc. I just want something new, not a new long term career, just something new.
