Like the title says, I’m a single mother to my beautiful baby girl looking for some advice! I’m white, her dad is black. Her father is not very involved and I’m not close enough with his family to ask them for advice. We have hair wash night every 4-5 days which involves shampoo then conditioner and I detangle her hair with a detangling brush while the conditioner is in, then I use a defuser so she doesn’t go to sleep with it wet. I put leave in conditioner after that but also use it every morning and I use a wide tooth wavy comb daily. She sleeps in a bonnet but usually takes it off at some point in the middle of the night. I love her more than anything in this world and I just want to make sure that I’m treating her hair properly and see if there anything else I could be doing/ anything I need to change to make sure that I’m taking care of her hair the way that she needs me to! Just want to make sure that she always feels beautiful! Any advice is appreciated :) also any styling tips would be nice! She loves to wear her clips but that’s usually just me pulling up the front pieces to get them out of her face and putting cute clips to keep them up.
