In both playoff matchups against teams with multiple bigs on the floor at the same time. The Pistons never matched size for size upfront. Stewart and Reed are capable of stretching the floor. Asking Duren to play against Mobley and Allen in the paint alone is tough. The rotation was either Reed or Stew. their minutes could have been balance throughout series

how can someone so uber athletic and coordinated on the defensive end be so lost on offensive end? He doesn’t even look at the rim far to often for someone that has ball handling responsibilities.

with his athleticism/quickness/explosiveness he should at the very least live at the FT line. Even if his FT percentage sucks he can get the opposing teams bigs into foul trouble attacking the rim.

Duren is a disaster this postseason but Ausar is the biggest problem for this team roster construction wise. A wing with zero offensive bag is such a negative . Too much pressure and no room for cade and Duren to reach full potential. Suggs in rd one and Mobley this series’s can roam and cause mayhem because Ausar is offensive liability

His defense doesn’t offset this against truly great shot makers and creators. Brunson torched him when i matter most last year and Mitchell has gotten off because Ausar can’t stay on the court
