1 month old game hints at 6 LIs

I was working on getting info for something else, going through LADS Instagram from the very bottom. This is where I stumbled at the Oracle of Stars event, and I couldn't believe what I saw. It's them hinting at all the LIs that will come later, in February 2024. Whoa. So I made this collage, hopefully the main sub will allow it.

Spot Valkyrie (full text in body)

People who don't have taste~~ he looks so so good in this hair!! Like a bishounen MC from a shoujo manga 💞💞 So handsome!

Nice!! They all look amazing this banner (they always do 🤭) with the slickback hair it's just👌😍😍💗 Im trying to rank Gege so let's see if I end up with the last 2 crates

It is totally worth getting it! It is very Caleb outfits~ I would want to put Lazy Morning on Caleb on every single day, both in Home System and Photo Studio~~

Yess relatable lol, they're all so good~ using kindled so much lately ever since ✨

EDIT: Continuing with the quiz of what we learned from imitating this tone in comments

CONTEXT: There was a series of alleged bot posts on the main sub, all promoting the new event, outfits and features. Users who posted them, all had similar usernames (Name_Surname), suspicious previous behavior and used a very robotic language. They named game features and outfit names full names, capitalized, in italic. Also, some of the accounts were banned by reddit since and their posts were deleted.

Under those posts a lot of known antis left the comments in the same tone (some of which you can see in the poll). And under the same posts lilies started an impromptu flashmob, leaving comments that copy the same style, but making them sarcastic. Some comments were more stealth than others, which gave me an idea to make this quiz.

See the posts below for more context: https://www.reddit.com/r/ValkosLilies/s/hiZOOtHJ80 https://www.reddit.com/r/ValkosLilies/s/cag0mpr6jp

My first merch (it's unofficial)

I love understated merch. This is perfect. And the wooden sword looks almost like one from the game ✨

Boys and their plushies

As you can see from this year's Qixi illustration and other hints earlier, each LI has a corresponding plushie. Some are more obvious (Xavier = bunny cactus plushie), some less. Golden throat bird plushie represents MC.

One plush I wanted to bring to your attention is Busy Goose. It was the last one to not have an owner, until Valko was introduced. There were hints about this plushie following others soon (pic. 2). Plushie having two pairs of ears (pic. 3, 4), just like Valko does.

This plushie was always there, from the start of the game, through LADS collaboration with Miniso. There were always plans to have 6 LIs, from the very beginning.

Feelings about the game

First of all, good job everyone, boycott numbers look great. I'm especially astonished at the global numbers, they're a third less then the empty July.

Second, I wanted to talk a bit about the game's future. I think Infold will release Valko, and soon. Even if not now, they'll do it eventually. If they don't, the game will slowly die.

But, even when they release him... I feel like the damage is already done. Some people already quit, some will return but cut spending. I'm not sure they will get a lot of new players after this scandal. For many present players, the spell has been lifted. As it was for me. Since I started playing in 2024, I've never missed a myth, I was so excited to read them for all the characters. Raf's VMG is the first exception, since I'm boycotting. Raf is my second favorite. I was so scared before it released, I thought it'll be so painful to ignore it. But when it launched, I felt nothing. I haven't even watched it on YouTube. I didn't have any cravings to login and pull. It's so strange to stand on the ruins of your obsession and remember how tightly it was gripping you. I saw other people having the same reaction.

When Valko will release, I'll go back to play, get to know him and his story. But l'm not sure it will be enough to repair what was lost. I hope I still can enjoy the game. But... I'm not sure I will be able to. I don't know what developers will have to do to repair the trust. I think with their rush decisions and a long time if mismanagement and greed, they destroyed the game's future. I don't think Lads will ever return to topping the charts, the fandom will remain fractured. And this saddens me so much. This game was good and it had a lot of potential. It did a lot of the things phenomenally well. I'm mourning what could have been.

What are your feelings about the game? Do you think you'll be able to return and enjoy it again?

As a solace, I still enjoy Lads fan art and fanfics, maybe I'll just continue doing this, while it brings me joy.

P.S. the image is a small edit of a message from Morrowind after you kill a quest NPC. I did it, feel free to use it, if you want.

Who we have to deal with

This grave you see is a gift box for Ling Xiao (Shaw), a gift for his birthday, he is an LI from another PPG game MLQC. Shaw's situation is a bit similar to Valko's. His introduction was met with people rioting against him. He was cancelled and reintroduced as a "Special Encounter" in a few months. This means that he doesn't get all game modes, only the cards and very rarely (I saw mentions of 8 months without content for him). His mains still endure humiliation from CDGs and the company themselves. Just take a look at this grave, how could a company treat their players like that?!

On the first screenshots from the CN CDSs reaction I saw demands of making Valko a special encounter. I didn't know what it meant then and I didn't know about Shaw. Now that I see the situation in more detail, I'm baffled... How can PPG be so stupid and cruel? Just why do they lord over the magnificent creative team?

This is who we are going against. A company that had already shown their face. The one that treats their players with mockery. Doesn't communicate, doesn't listen. We can't stop, we can't be lenient with them. And we can't accept this special encounter treatment, if this is how they decide to return Valko.

EDIT: thanks to u/D-A-Orochi situation became more clear. "Yes, I think OP's post is a bit unclear/confusing. Basically what happened was this: This is a birthday shrine for the character. However, it looks like a Chinese gravestone, and because there's already a controversy attached to this characters, a number of people suspected it was done on purpose out of malice. Players protested this design, and the item was eventually redesigned. This is a forum discussing the matter and comparing what the shrines for the other characters look like if you want to see.

You're right, since they did redesign the item after backlash, it does seem that they do listen to player's voice. I hope this is a good sign for our cause... "

Sorry everyone, I'm a passionate idiot and should have checked info more. I only did a surface level search and saw that the item was legitimate. There was a controversy about it, but it doesn't look like it was done out of hate. I wanted to add context, and all I want is for Valko to be back as a full LI. This is why this info scared me.

On Infold's tactics and importance of not spending

Hi! I found this post on Twitter really interesting. It's about the KOD boycott and how Infold behaved. I think that just emphasizes the importance of not spending money and staying united. The only way they will listen is if we sustain monetary pressure. Try not to give into hopium or tiredness. Talk to your fellow players here. I don't think there will be an announcement from Infold on gamescom, so we can't stop boycott now fueled by hopium that they are about to return Valko.

_____________________________________

‼️Long Infodump ahead‼️

A lot of people might not realize this isn’t Infold’s first rodeo. Before Valko, there was already a documented pattern during Xavier’s Myth controversy (I'm leaving out Shaw from MLQC, don’t have solid info on it, just know the treatment reportedly looked similar.)

There is a 114 page document of proof and screenshots that an Ex-player gathered during the ⭐ KOD lawsuit. I've tried to compile the main points. If there are any mistakes, please do tell me and I'll fix it. I attached some additional info related to this and the link to the pdf in the comments.

What’s independently verified:

🔷 Jan 2025: 2,000+ players filed formal Black Cat platform complaints alleging Qin Che’s pull rates were misrepresented, it trended on Weibo.

🔷 Jul to Aug 2025: Xavier’s new battle mechanic didn’t match its promo trailer. International Finance News reported hundreds of VIP players organized within 14 hours, combined spending over 20 million yuan, demanding the mechanic be restored.

What players documented Infold doing:

◾Ignored internal CS complaints entirely 🐺

◾Coordinated accounts reframed the whole thing as “you didn’t spend enough” or “you’re overreacting”

◾Loyal infold fan accounts publicly shamed and discredited the critical players demanding accountability, turning it into fan vs fan instead of fan vs company 🐺 ‼️

◾Buried critical comments and trending topics while amplifying positive ones 🐺

◾When they finally responded, it was a patch fixing minor cosmetic bugs, timed right before a new banner so the money could come in swiftly, while the actual complaint went untouched

What did NOT work:

❌Trending tags

❌Politely waiting for a response

❌Internal customer service complaints alone

xist to them

❌Moderate fan-led shaming of critical players, meant to isolate and silence them while pushing for the "nice" way (more on this in the comments)

❌Someone literally getting on CN tv news and calling it false advertising! Still NOTHING.

The documentation cuts off after the patch and a forecast of more of the same tactics ahead. It doesn’t confirm whether the core issue was ever fully resolved. According to people directly involved in the campaign:  Xavier’s fans even hired a lawyer. Infold ignored contact for weeks. When their attorney finally responded, he didn’t even have authorization to negotiate, that took until September 29, a full month in. When they did engage, their public statement was “the item has never changed since release,” which completely dodges that the mismatch existed since day one. Weeks later, they floated a private settlement to the handful of people who’d filed suit, leaving the actual issue unresolved for everyone else.

Most people who fought that fight have already left the game. They never got an outcome. Xavier’s card was never fixed.

And here’s what stands out most to me. That entire fight was basically CN players alone. No real global attention, no international boycott behind it. But Infold treated that exactly as they are treating it now. Almost like we don't even EXIST to them. We've done one of the biggest gaming boycotts we’ve seen, and CN and international fans are actually leaning on each other. If anything was going to get a different, more serious response out of them, this should have been it, right? Instead we get the same silence and zero acknowledgment.

If a fight this size with global reach still gets nothing, what does that tell you about how much the global playerbase actually counts to them? We’re not stakeholders to them. We’re just extra income with no say.

And now people are treating Gamescom like it’s going to be different. Like Infold showing up somehow means they’ll finally see us, finally hear us. They HAVE heard us, the HAVE seen us. They IGNORED. They already did that. Anime Expo already happened. The shrine, the merch, the press coverage, the donations, the petitions, all of it. Infold watched every second of it and said nothing. Acting like Gamescom is some unprecedented chance means acting like Anime Expo never happened.

Worse, conveniently right before gamescom, there are people hopemaxxing and claiming Infold is bringing Valko back after Zayne’s bday, or that there’s some big Valko reveal planned for Gamescom, so everyone should show up (Which would lead to many spending)

Ask yourself how many times this exact kind of rumors has to NOT happen before people stop building strategy around it.  There is no announcement coming. The company is doing all it can to move on, and we are paving their road for them with our blood, sweat and tears.

This is why I'm personally against the Gamecom attendance even though its probably inevitable. This company, that has stayed silent for almost two months, is about to walk into one of the biggest stages in gaming, banking on exactly this kind of wishful thinking to sell merch and gather new uninvolved players. Now me sending an email to Gamescom obviously won't stop them from attending, but it'll still send a message.

We are not the enemy here. Infold is. Don’t defend their reputation, don’t get gaslit into staying quiet and demure. Don’t get manipulated into thinking they care about our emotions or our hashtags. Valko is Infold’s product. They’re the only ones who could’ve actually cleared his name, and they chose cancelation and silence instead. They chose disrespecting the entire globe because they knew they had us wrapped around their finger, that we’d open our wallets the moment they called.

So even if you go, don’t prove them right at Gamescom. Don't make it just another Anime Expo.
