We all know and love Haru proving his natural hair color, but what are your favorite small, minimally discussed, less-well-publicized comedic moments?

I have several favorites:

• Tohru making the 'hwaygh!' noise when she falls while visiting Kazuma's house the first time,
• The cut-scene to Hanajima wearing the over-the-top assortment of beach accessories while discussing summer vacation,
• Yuki going 'Oh, I forgot, I have to be literally anywhere but here' when he needed to run out on Tohru and Kyo's painfully awkward chemistry,
• Kimi telling her 'tragic backstory' (revealing that she, even as a very small child, had a healthy ego and loved male attention),
• Yuki meeting Kakeru's girlfriend Komaki the first time.

But there is something especially silly and also charming about this scene: Yuki watching Machi react to the little Mogeta he got her. Machi and Yuki are both so funny and sweet, and I get an especial kick out of confused Kakeru.

For me, I fully expected to loathe Ayame. I don't like the steamrolling drama queen/pervert tropes, so when he first appeared on the scene I instantly dismissed him. But by the time his introductory chapters were over, I was already thinking "Huh, there's more to this guy than it seems," and by the end of the series he'd become one of my favorite characters. I love his hidden depths and surprisingly thoughtful advice, his emotional growth from selfish teenager to quasi-grounded adult, his loyalty to his friends, brother, and Mine, and the fact that when he commits to something he does so with his whole heart. I'm also glad that despite the whole 'hiding in Tohru's clothing' thing during his introduction, he was never portrayed as a pervy older man.

Yes, he's still a drama king and has more ridiculous moments than you can shake a stick at, but he's also charming, fun, caring, and surprisingly sweet.

Asking because I feel like its a common refrain from fans, wishing the series hadn't ended or that there was a proper sequel. But if there was a sequel (and I mean an official sequel by Natsuki Takaya), what would you want to see?

• A more slice-of-life-style continuation of the original series, addressing how the OGs moved on after the Curse/handled their existing trauma?
• A continuation that featured a new Big Bad person/spirit of some kind, as opposed to the Big Bad being The Trauma We Already Found Along the Way?
• Something like Another (just in more depth) that picked up in the future/with the next generation?
• Something else?

Yuki has some real gems throughout the canon, but my favorite silly moment is this one: after he's trapped in the closet with the paint and has just been talking to Kakeru about Very Serious Things (including the truth of his feelings towards Tohru), Kakeru chucks a soccer ball at him, he angrily hurls it back, and they wind up having this silly soccer ball battle.

It's my favorite because we see Yuki truly letting go; he's not even trying to be perfect or polished and doesn't care at all who might be watching him. In this moment, he's just an angry teenager indulging in ridiculous angry teenager behavior.

After twenty-four days and some very close polls, our little game has its winner: Sheets/You could never disappoint me. Our runner-up, True Form, fought hard, but in the end it was no match for the fan favorite.

There is a frequently shared fandom belief that Tohru got pregnant with Hajime soon after (like, within months of) graduation. Based on the information we get in Another, it's possible but unlikely things happened that fast:

• Hajime isn't the oldest next gen kid. That honor goes to either Hatori's daughter Kinu or Ayame's daughter Hibika.
• Hibika's age is up for debate; in Another, she doesn't seem to be attending any kind of school and goes on a spontaneous trip to Paris herself. Given that high school is optional in Japan and third year students (like Hajime) would be turning 18, it's possible she was the same age as Hajime. At the same time, it's extremely uncommon for Japanese kids not to attend high school, especially if they're in line to take over a business like Hibika would be. The much more likely take is that Hibika has graduated high school already, meaning she is at least one grade ahead of Hajime.
• Kinu is confirmed to be at least one grade ahead of Hajime since she's in university.
• Neither Mine nor Mayuko is shown to be or hinted to be pregnant at the end of the OG canon.
• Japan has fixed age gates for students. Incoming first graders would have to have turned six between the previous April 2nd and the current April 1st (the school year runs from April-March).
• Assuming neither Mine nor Mayuko is pregnant at graduation, they would have to become pregnant within the next few months (prior to early/mid July) in order for their kids to be born before the soonest possible school year.
• Assuming the smallest possible age gap between Hajime and Kinu/Hibika while still allowing them to be in different grades, Tohru, at the absolute earliest, wouldn't be pregnant until late July/August, so roughly four months-post graduation at the absolute earliest. Plausible.
• However, Yuki and Machi's son is only a grade behind Hajime. We know Yuki goes to university, which is four years in Japan. More importantly, Kakeru Manabe's daughter is in the same grade as Hajime, and Kakeru is likewise confirmed in canon to be going to university. It is VERY uncommon for Japanese university students to have kids.
• So in order for Tohru and Kyo to have the within-months-of-graduation pregnancy, it would require:
  • Ayame/Mine and Hatori/Kinu to either already be expecting their kids at the end of the OG canon or to conceive within months of graduation, and
  • Yuki/Machi and Kakeru/Komaki to have children halfway/not even halfway through university.

Allowing for all the above, it's technically possible Tohru got pregnant early on but the requirements that would place on four other couples, especially Yuki and Machi, makes it unlikely. Hatori/Mayuko and Ayame/Mine make sense to have children sooner given their ages, but two couples in university having kids soon doesn't.
