Obligatory first post.

For months i was in search for a new grill/smoker.

Offcourse i looked into traeger first. Reviews long term seem to be devided, specially on build quality.

Then pit boss, and eventually i came across the searwood.

All reviews seemed really possitive and build quality seemed to be really sollid + customer service is top notch from what i can tell.

Made the decision on going with the XL version since i sometimes Cook for 30 to 40 people.

Mind you this is my first pellet grill.

I come from a kamado and have 3 differenr brands, a kamado Joe, a grizzly grills and a Bastard VX, and wile i do love them, the technology with pellet grills is something else.

My god, so far it did not dissapoint.

My first Cook was a chicken on the rotisserie.

I dont think i will ever want to have chicken any other way (forgot to take picture, was to excited). It was perfect.

2th Cook, ribeye, used oak pellets and it was perfect! The rub i used was angus & oink black gold SPG.

Im really happy with my purchase, my wife aswel cause i have been using the searwood on Almost a daily basis, even if its just for veggies. Even the kids love it, wich is an extra + point.
