are sites for movies and series which are not listed in the megathread/fmhy still safe to use? or can you get malware or something worse by using these sites?

i do close pop ups, ignore fake buttons and basically everything we're supposed to do

so in short if i just watch the content and not bother with any of the shady stuff is there anything i should be worried about?
