just did my first ever clean burn on my joe jr., and wanted to share what went good and what went bad, + tips.

First, I think it went good, but not great.

The grates, holder are nice and clean with zero grease, bottom half is like new, but that is always after sear.

Dome no longer has any grease, but it is still black, tried the bbq dad method of closing the top vent and letting the inner vent open, but failed. I think it was most likely because I went half and half with coal size, and should just have big chunks, because everything smaller was gone in the first hour.

Also, the fuzzy crap melted together, and I had to slice it open, honestly, sad that they don't make fibermesh for junior.

Anyway, it was still fun, and joe turned almost purple from the heat, whicj was nice.to see.
