This is just something I saw playing thousand islands both on current and previous update. On cycles 98 and 99 I've experienced drastic drop in amount of water produced by water sources. I estimated the deficit to +-400k water units (it's loose estimation based on the amount of water lacking in my storage and how much water I usually had in my reservoirs by the start of the bad season. In earlier cycles they were almost completely full, in those they were almost empty).

In short if you use enough water to gather all the good water in every cycle have enough surplus to survive these two seasons and then some as getting it to full capacity again can take a few cycles.
