Got this on clearance at Walmart for $13.50

Last two slides are the before pictures. Been looking for a place to put all of my jewelry but didn’t want to buy anything expensive. Hit the jackpot with this one, used to be 45 dollars and was on clearance at Walmart for 13.50. Painted it with acrylics and I love how it turned out :)

I kind of want to add more to the front and sides, maybe birds or something on the very top, right now it’s just splattered silver paint to look like a night sky, but not much else. I also may just keep it as is, I think either way it’s definitely an upgrade from before. Anyway let me know your thoughts!

Is he okay?

Hello everyone. I adopted this Vinegaroon last year around mid summer. I tried feeding him when I had him but he did not want to eat, and he was pretty plump. Soon after he made his burrow and I saw him maybe once or twice since then, and each time he emerged I attempted to feed him, which he denied any food. I understand that it is not good to feed them while they are burrowed underground since they are likely in pre molt, so I did not. I would fill his water bowl and mist his enclosure every now and then, but he rarely came to surface. I was away for a trip for about 2 weeks, I returned and he was upside down (as in pedipalps down, abdomen up) leaning against his water dish. I was worried maybe he was dehydrated so I nudged him a little and he responded, but didn’t seem to want to move. I got worried maybe he was molting and I disturbed him, but it looks as though he has different colors and a much longer tail, which makes me assume he molted already. His abdomen is small, which I could have assumed is because he hasn’t eaten for so long, but I also worried his slow movements was due to dehydration so I put water in his dish and placed him against it. He moved again, but only moves in small slow increments. It is possible maybe he freshly molted and is still recovering? I am worried I have done the wrong thing but please let me know if anyone knows what is happening or has experienced this before and what I should do?
