From Mourning 240-1. No Matter How I Look at It, It's You Guys' Fault My Sister Is Normal!

I know, I know, sorry for my 5 dollar Photoshop, but it's not like I have good edition skills. Although well, it'd be too good if someone did a real fanart of that kind.

Megumi Imae. Wraps Up the Year, Ignoring the Season - by @MoGa_metalheart (Google and DeepL translation)

>It’s exactly as depicted in the illustration (lol). > >As for me, I’ve only managed to publish one self-published manga so far, but for others, it’s been an amazing year—one person released a manga volume, another published a massive novel, and there was even a collaborative anthology. > >I can’t let them outdo me, so I’d like to pick up the pace on my ongoing series, The Story of Megumi Imae. > >I can’t express how grateful I am to everyone who visits my page, gives me likes and bookmarks, and leaves comments and feedback. > >It’s because of you that I feel motivated to keep pushing myself. > >Thank you so much for this past year. > >I look forward to your continued support next year!

Megumi Imae. A Scene Where My Art Was Slammed and I Got Yelled At by Imae-san - by @MoGa_metalheart (Google and DeepL translation)

>I posted a color illustration of Hunter Imae-san that I drew the other day on a certain platform—not Twitter or Pixiv, a place where I don’t usually upload art—and, just as the text in the background says, it got absolutely torn to shreds. Even Imae-san, who’s usually so cool, got angry… > After that, I also got a comment from someone else questioning my taste, so I’m done posting Imie-san’s art elsewhere. While I admit my skills are still unpolished, I really can’t stand it when people try to find fault with Imae-san or Watamote. > >I know I need to try harder, but I was so exhausted after finishing the face that I just sketched the body roughly—and I haven’t even reflected on that at all… By the way, this black-and-white drawing took me a little over 30 minutes.

>Shimokkare- Shimotsukare (しもつかれ) is a local Japanese dish served in the Northern Kantō region of Japan, primarily in Tochigi Prefecture but also in Gunma Prefecture and Ibaraki Prefecture. The dish is generally served on hatsu-u-no hi (初午の日, literally; first day of horse in the month of February) together with sekihan as an offering to appease the legendary deity, inari. Shimotsukare is usually made by simmering salmon head, vegetables, soybeans, abura-age (あぶらあげ or deep fried tofu skins) and sake kasu (酒粕, literally rice pulp from fermented sake). Common additional ingredients include grated raw radish (oroshi daikon) and carrots. The dish is also known as shimitsukari, shimitsukare or sumitsukare in some areas.
