I’m still having problems setting everything up as I often end up with a high buffer that will give me too much latency to enjoy playing.
What are your go to’s for a nice setup?
I’m running Reaper DAW, Win11, asio4all for drivers with a Behringer Uphoria interface.
I’m suspecting my drivers and my settings.
My PC is running Cyberpunk on high, so it’s pretty speccd out.
TL;DR: Should I buy a hardware unit now or wait till newer devices come on the market?
I could pull the trigger on a Valeton GP-50 just to test the waters.
Does the both Valeton units degrade NAM models as much? If so the 50 is the better deal.
Can you recommend similar smaller units, that will perform well for the price? Thinking best signal to price ratio.
I want to just have a unit that’ll mostly have to run NAM preamp/amp profiles, and maybe a bit of fx, into my power amp and cab. The least amount of hassle.
I have separate fx pedals, so not a deal breaker.
