What were my odds as a gold miner in the u.s in 1849? Was gold so frequent that I would have good chances in becoming rich? Or would I have been beaten by people who got there earlier or who were closer if I got there in 1850?

How much of a chance did the average gold miners have in traveling to California to strike it rich? Was I looking to keep a better than average quality of life if it went well? Or is it like hoping to be a successful youtuber or twitch streamer where very few succeed but many try or were the odds more equitable?

Would there have been anyone Caesar would have been mentally comparing himself to if he had chosen to do so? Obviously he wouldn't have the context for how long he would be influential for. But did he have a contemporary Caesar to compare himself to?

Will a bricked bms still allow a battery to be used but not charged?

I replaced all the cells from the original US18650VT 1300mAh cells with revived INR18650-29E 2850mAh cells. Roughly doubling my capacity. The battery does work in my impact driver just fine. But does not charge. I assume a dead bms means the tool wont work at all? I was also unable to unlock it with /u/cutdact software, as it would not read any data.

If anyone has another BMS board option to use I wouldn't mind suggestions too.
