What's this pattern called and how do I recreate it?
I noticed this pattern in Screwbot Factory from Rhythm Heaven and in some other soundtracks. I'm new to music composition (About three months, excluding breaks) and don't have prior knowledge of music theory to recognise this pattern. I tried to search this on Google, but I couldn't word it properly and ended up with something called auxiliary notes? Can someone help? Thx!
