I feel a bit confused and wonder what I’m doing wrong?

We have a hotel booking with breakfast and a princess dinner for May. I’m trying to book other restaurants, but we would prefer the village as the theme restaurant menus aren’t really appealing with the limited choices for the cost.

However, I can’t figure out how to book restaurants like Royal Pub or the Sports Bar? Am I missing something? I see other people posting about reservations but I can’t find a link online.

Please help a Disney first-timer out!

I need advice.

We are putting down our senior dog this week because he is really starting to decline. We talked about it with the kids (5 and 7) and explained he’s old and in pain and he might not be with us much longer. I’m trying to prep them and plan to give a “best day ever”

My issue is the day of. As far as I see it I have three options.

1. send them to school and tell them after that we took him to the vet to see if they could help him and we had to decide (white lie). But I also don’t want to take the chance away from them to say a final goodbye.

2. tell them we’re taking him and send them to their grandparents. This seems like the worst option to me as I feel like I’m asking a lot of the grandparents to have to help two inconsolable kids who know their dog is going to die.

3. bring them and have them come in between the two shots when he is sedated to say bye and then leave the room. One of us would stay with the kids and one would be there for our dog while he passes.

I was originally leaning towards option 1, but after much research I think option 3?

How have you logistically handled the day of event with kids?
