Booker and Green weren't a bad thing, but it wasn't a large sample. Could they be a duo?

He has batted 54 balls in play. He barrelled 2 of them.

James McCann has 3 barrels. He's been gone since I don't know when.

Groover has 4 barrels. Both him and James have less plate appearances than Pavin as well.

Imagine Luis Arraez. Now imagine him with an eye patch. That's Pavin's bat profile. After thorough digging, there is no DH in the league worse than Smith if ever qualifies (you know it's gonna happen). He's in the rungs with Morel, Sosa, Refsnyder, but they all play more utility roles.

I'd rather have Jorge Barrosa DH. He has a higher exit velo and 5 barrels on the season. A 5'5" switch hitter, can launch the ball better, than a 6'2" Virginia Ginger. Younger too and can actually run the bases.

We gotta see what Beck is about. Not that sitting him is a bad idea, maybe until the last divisional game is played, but reps are reps. He's going to be 1 year older by next year's draft so the decision is; keep a 27 QB, or start over with a fresh young blood QB. I'd rather see what Beck produces first than blindly move from him.

Also we went from Willis to Ty to Beck. Really not much of a difference besides the dollar amount. I think Lafluer would work with Beck if he could work with Willis. If that makes sense.
