Has anyone beat Joey in the atm quest line I’d like some team recommendations

Has anyone completed the full unbound quest line with optional trainers? I’m struggling trying to find all of them and I’ve been flying around the end highlands for the last 2hrs

I’ve jus recently update my game and I gave myself the badges since I’m on the elite four for radical red but the rising badge won’t go into the badge box should I just fight the final gym leader again or are you supposed to get it later in the game
(Edit: now when I try to fight Claire again all her pokemon are level 95😑)
