Flying without precheck with breast milk, no baby
First time traveling without tsa precheck since it is taking so long to have my married name switched over and I’m dreading it. It’s been so many years since I’ve travelled without tsa precheck I barely remember what it was like. My daughter and husband will have no problems. We are leaving the baby at home with the grandparents for a quick 2 night trip with my daughter and my baby is exclusively breastfed so I will be pumping around the clock. I will literally have pumped milk from the drive to the airport to bring through my departing flight. I’m not sure if I will be able to freeze my milk from the trip but I can certainly try if the freezer in the hotel is big enough. What is the best way to get through security with the liquid milk? I have these breast milk bags. They are clear with some branding on them. I have clear containers too but not enough for all the milk I will have to bring back with me. I’m guessing probably 60-90oz coming back. I feel overwhelmed not having the precheck and my 5 year old who has it via my husband will likely want to stay in line with me instead. Any advice on the breast milk/ pump with no baby?
