VSCO Workspace

VSCO Workspace

Apparently I don't have to worry "at this time" but with the changes VSCO is making to VSCO Workspace (formerly my beloved Tave), it seems I might be in the market for a new CRM within the next year or so.

Must haves: option to include more than one brand, contracts, embeddable contact forms, automated workflows and emails (text would be great, but not a priority), standard AND customizable quotes/products etc., expense tracking, lead tracking, referral source tracking. As much data tracking as possible!

The thing that sold me on Tave 12 years ago were the internal reports that I didn't have to create myself: booking trends, tracking closed lead reasons, seeing which collections/products sold best.

Any other CRMs with robust tracking info? I'm comfortable enough with that kind of data that I *could* do it myself, but I while I technically can do all of the above myself, I'd rather have the time to do literally anything else.

I have no interest in leaving Pic-Time so I truly don't care if there is gallery integration.

Which Sony body should I buy?

ETA: photo only

What the title says. I currently shoot on A7iiis and after replacing 2 of 4 mech shutters and hearing the fail start on a third body, I'm thinking it's time to scoop up 1 if not 2 new bodies.

I am very much not a gearhead. Which current body should I get?

I've had two otherwise really great consults recently that ended up hiring photogs who also offered video.

I have no interest in adding video to my own business at this point, but I'm planning to reach out to a couple of my favorite video teams to see if we can put together some sort of package where they'd be my "in-house" video team when I have couples interested in that.

For those of you who either offer video or team up with another biz like I'm considering, what do you include in packages from the video side of things? I want to have a more developed idea of what I'm asking when I reach out to the video teams.

Hello gals! I need some advice. I’m a ~modestly~ BBB getting married in Chicago in September who is trying (and struggling) not to go overboard with vendors. We’ve already booked an incredible photographer and videographer, but I’ve been considering booking a content creator for our day. I found one I love who is only about $1500-$2000.

Reason I want one is mainly to have beautiful documentation of our day immediately afterward - I know it’s going to be torture waiting for our photography and videography, even with a preview! I don’t particularly care about making TikToks or posting things on Instagram (though I will definitely enjoy posting something especially stories), but I mainly want some beautiful iPhone content for myself to stare at lol. I know our family and friends aren’t really going to be able to capture things the way I want on our day, even if I ask my bridesmaids or aunts/uncles to try, and I also don’t want my guests to have to worry about that!

Reason I’m hesitant is that I’m afraid another person there filming will be stressful/overwhelming and make me feel more anxious on my day. I’m not the most comfortable being the center of attention or having my picture taken to begin with, though trying to embrace it in this season. I also feel like the “what’s another $2000?!” mindset is getting dangerous lol. My mom thinks it’s silly, and my fiancé is on the fence too.

Those of you who have used a content creator, was it worth it? What did you love/hate about it? Is social media making me go absolutely overboard?

Thanks in advance :)
