So for context I'm 18 and I'm a virgin and I've only ever used a tampon one time in my life (even inserting the tampon that one time was a little 🤏 painful)
I chose the lily cup deliberately cause my cervix is SOOOOO high; if I put my index finger inside of me while I'm not aroused at all I can just barely graze my cervix with the tip of my finger if my entire knuckle is inside of me lmao
Also I know the size a is the same length but skinnier but my flow is veeeerrryy heavy so I got b
I tried to get my cup in 3 times so far (well I tried lots of times actually, I just mean there were 3 separate occasions where I tried if that makes sense) and every time it hurt but on the third try I kinda got it like two thirds of the way in
I use/used the punch-down fold pretty much every time except for the first couple of tries where I tried the c-fold, most of the other folds are pretty hard for me
Either I have weak hands or the lily cup is just very thick or both idk
Anyway I got it like two thirds of the way in a few times on the third occasion but either I would pull it out because it was hurting or I would get the top/middle part in but then it would unfold and pop itself back out (I think?)
Should I switch to tampons or keep trying? Like am I almost there? I don't really care about the environment n shi, the 2 biggest (basically only) reasons I got a menstrual cup was 1. I wear a period underwear, a pad, and an extra liner all at the same time and still get blood on the inside of my shorts/pants and when I sleep in my underwear like this I get blood on my bed and it makes me so mad and 2. so I can swim on my period
The teen cups scare me even though I am a teen cause I'm so deep so what if it gets stuck 😭
