"Slow Burn" but no romance?
Recently I have seen several different fics, from different authors, tag their fics as Slow Burn but there is no romance or adult content in these stories. Is there another reason to use the slow burn tag? I've been reading fan fiction since the 90's and haven't seen it used for anything besides romance or smut.
