Advice for repairing flange
Hello all,
I am a homeowner looking for advice on repairing a cast iron flange. I noticed my toilet rocking and saw that a repair could be simple. It was not for me. I was unable to screw down the repair into what is below my floor. I presume the last owners at some point replaced the flooring and there is no proper subfloor. (I live in a basement unit in a condo building.) I am looking for how to best repair it without replacing the whole flange if possible. Here is a photo of the current flange.
I was looking into something that wraps around the existing flange without needing to be screwed to the floor. Although I am worried I won’t be able to fit that in without cutting more floor.
Let me know if this is worth the trouble repairing or I should throw in the towel and have the flange replaced.
Thanks,
