Glass in loam
I rent a house and recently my landlord decided to try and fix the backyard as it had been neglected for some time. He had a big pile of “sifted loam” delivered. He and another guy spent two days raking and evening it out, laying grass seed and put hay or straw on top.
Today I was outside and noticed something sticking out of the ground. And the more I looked, the more I noticed that there is just a ton of broken glass mixed all through this. I have a two year old who has been out here, luckily not barefoot. But I’m wondering, how would they even go about addressing this to make sure there isn’t any left over? Will they need to rip everything out and sift through?
This is a pile I found after only looking for about 10 minutes.
