First visit - June location advice
Hey all
We (family with two teens) are planning on a short trip to China to visit a friend for a few days in Qingdao. We will then have around 7 more nights to sight-see. Chengdu is a must, and I was thinking of adding one more location but I am torn between too many options.
I currently have Xi'an, Guangzhou and Chongqing on my list.
I would prefer to travel by train than by air, but as our time is short I don't mind flying if that's easier.
We like exploring natural scenery, culture, history, prefer not to hire a car, would be open to a guide or just self tour with public transport.
We're planning on the last week or so of June, so think it will be getting warmer in most places but hopefully not too bad? (We're Australian - can handle heat, but don't love humidity).
Any tips? Or all options are equally good?
