Help me understand power consumption.

I plan to set up frigate with one sole front door Reolink doorbell cam. The server has an i5-9500 and only hosts immich and jellyfin.

Then that will pass on the notifications to a thin client that is dedicated to Home Assistant.

The issue i am wondering is how much of a load will frigate put it under due to the fact we live on a busy street.

There's traffic passing by most of the time and pedestrians every now and then. If i mask the area being scanned to just the front gate and porch steps will this lessen the power it needs or is that irrelevant to how the object recognition functions?

With a flow of cars just beyond the sidewalk i'd prefer it not wasting its time figuring out what it out there when what matters is what comes onto our property.

config DNS on router for Unbound

I am using Home assistant OS on a dedicated thin client to host Adguard and now Unbound. No containers etc running just the apps in the HAOS

I have had AdGaurd home for over a year but recently decided to add Unbound. My router is using OpenWRT.

I configured the DNS when i set it up a year plus ago with adgaurd this way:

>Luci > Network > Interfaces > lan > DHCP Server > Advanced Settings > DHCP-Options

But i know you can also change the DNS in OpenWRT another way:

>Luci > Network > Interfaces > wan > Advanced Settings > (uncheck box) Use DNS servers advertised by peer ==>> Use custom DNS servers

Is the way i did it the best way have it work properly?

I had no problems in the year + with ad blocking but i want to make sure the router is pointed in a way to ensure Unbound is doing it thing no matter what is logged onto my network
