Limescale immediately after descaling with vinegar.

I descaled my kettle today and everything was spotless.

I just made some tea and after the water has boiled the black spots already returned....

I'm using brita filtered water.

Tips for efficiency using genki/anki ?

So i started learning Japanese a few weeks ago starting with hiragana and katana (which i memorized now).

I got the genki text, work and answer book.

Right now I'm at "greetings" which has a vocabulary at the start.

So i'm wondering what the best and most efficient approach would be.

Do I learn the vocabulary for the "greetings" chapter using anki and then start that chapter ?

I was using anki with a genki deck that has everything sorted per chapter .

But I feel like I was pushing the red button <1min alot 😅.

How do you guys approach this?

Old ways tea experience?

I ordered a sample oolong box from old ways tea on June 3.

I still don't have a tracking or an update about my order and I'm starting to worry a bit.

I sent an email about 10 days ago , but still no answer....

I'm in Belgium (Europe) so i was assuming it would take some time , but I'm wondering about my order now .

Has anyone from Europe ordered from old ways tea before ?

What should I be doing alongside genki textbook ?

I started learning hiragana and katakana 2 weeks ago and i comfortably memorized them.

I ordered the genki textbook , workbook and answer key.

I know about the YouTuber that explains the genki books , so I will follow those videos alongside.

But what are things I can practice on/with alongside these books?

Received my first yixing from mud and leaves!

Just got my first yixing zhuni 115ml from mud and leaves .

Brewing Da Hong Pao in it and thinking about dedicating it for wuyi oolongs.

What teas would you guys recommend using with a zhuni ?

I also like fragrant oolongs like Tie Guan Yin (iron goddess of mercy).

Would it be a bad idea to use wuyi oolongs like da hong pao and more fragrant oolongs in the same yixing ?

Help ID this pot

Bought this pot online from a local theashop.

It only said "yixing teapot" 180 ml.

I know it's probably not real yixing clay but I wanted to know if anyone could tell me what clay it is and it's authenticity.

I bought this teaset today at a flea market for 4 euros.

Lady said it was never used.

It doesn't have a seal on the bottom.

Also, the grip on the lid feels bad as it keeps slipping through my fingers when I try to lift it.....

Any info about this set would be helpful, but I reckon there's nothing special about this set ?
