250th Anny Car via AI

AI tried. I wanted it to add a third headlight to the left side of the grill and put a zero in it. AI couldn't do it. After a number of tries, I settled on this image with a 2 and 5 on the left and a zero on the right. Just another day in paradise in Murphyville!

Murphyville Car Meet - July 4th Weekend

This started off with the HW's McLaren 720S and the HW's Ferrari SF90 (Grey) because I think they're so alike, body shape wise. Then I started grabbing other expensive cars to go with those two. I hope everyone has a wonderful July 4th weekend, wherever you may be. Feel free to add your favorite "way expensive" car in a comment. Yep!

2022 Mini Cooper SE - Matchbox | Moving Parts

Found this Moving Parts Mini Cooper SE a few days ago. Already had a Matchbox Mini Cooper S so this was a nice addition to the family.

Matchbox SHERP, BMW, and Aston Martin.

I picked up these three Matchbox cars from Kroger yesterday. Idk what I paid for each... $1.50 maybe? Then today I go to Walmart and as I'm browsing the diecast aisle, I see this peg of HW Car Culture cars with the peg price tag reading $14.97! My jaw hit the floor. Right next to it was a peg of Pop Culture cars for the much more reasonable (? - whatever) price of $6.88. I mean, who would pay $15 for HW premium cars from Walmart? Not me! Am I missing something here? Anyway... enjoy the 3 Matchbox cars; I am certainly enjoying them!

Mercedes Day in Murphyville

I had this idea... to do a Mercedes shoot. Yeah. So I put the Matchbox SL63 next to Rusty's and figured I'd let it be static and bring some more Mercedes in the shots behind it and then that morphed into unloading them on Rusty's lawn. Just another day in Murphyville, folks. Yep!

Murphyville : American Made vehicles (Black)

This shoot started off with the Continental and Impala in the first photo. Then the second row of muscle cars and then the rest of the meet and other cars, spread out around Murphyville. And, yep, the Bollinger is American made. Dunno why that surprised me, but it did. Feel free to throw a photo of an American made car/truck/van in the color black into a comment. Hope everyone enjoys this series; it was fun to put it together and shoot it. Yep!

Jaguar and McLaren...

I really like Monoblock's 12 spoke wheels in Metallic Silver with alternative tires. I think they look great on both of these cars. They are almost a perfect match to the Jag's stock wheels, although much classier, imho. Enjoy!

EDIT: Just noticed the caption on shot #1 shows the year as 197. Hahaha. A little later than that. Let’s try 1977.

BMW Meet Up. White cars with M series livery (Or close enough for this series.)

The official colors of BMW M cars are light blue, dark blue, and red. Four of these cars are M cars. The other two are "close enough" for this series. Just a little meet-up on the front lawn of the Sears House. Hope everyone enjoys! (Almost forgot the 3.0 CSL on the trailer in the last shot.)

Bubba's Bearings - '66 Chevy Chevelle

Was rooting through a nose-high shelf tonight, looking for black and gold cars. Saw this gold one and pulled it out. I had no clue Bubba was in the bearing business! This has been sitting on that shelf for four years, at least. When I pulled it out and saw "Bubba's Bearings" I had to take some shots with Bubba.

Here's a post I did when I got this (Before I made the Bubba connection): HW Car Culture 2-pack (And I just realized... Bubba's in this older post too!!! Wow. OK, then. It was meant to be.)

So, yeah, this is real, not AI. Yessir, yessir!

Black & Gold

It started with the LBWK/JPS Supra, then the Porsche, then the rest. The gold Silvia piggybacked on it's black sibling. If you have a black & gold beauty, add it in a comment here if you feel like it.

Delivery Saturday in Murphyville with a new light

Started out with the first shot here, prompted by the tiny Nissan S-Cargo to the UPS truck. Then grabbed most of my delivery vehicles and set them up around Murphyville for this series. Got a new light tonight. The last photo in this series shows it. It lights up all of Murphyville. It is dimmable and has 5 different shades. I'm going to be playing around with it. Very excited about this new tool for shooting Murphyville. Oh, yes. The first shot was done yesterday, without the new light. All other photos have the new light shining down on them. Hope all y'all enjoy!

Nissan S-Cargo || Tarmac Works | Global 64

Saw u/modellequerbeet 's post of their Tarmac Works NIssan S-Cargo van and had to get one! I broke this photo series up into 3 groups that are listed as #x of X in the photo captions. Lately, I've not been finding diecast cars that I can't live without. This van called my name and I responded. Hope all y'all enjoy this little beauty!

Some favorite...

So many cool wheels out there. Here are just a few of my favorite wheels. I might make this a regular (weekly?) thing. Feel free to share your favorite wheels too!

There's a video at the end of the series. If the video doesn’t load, take a gander at this post:

Two Hondas

I got 5 sets of Monoblock wheels in the last week or so. The "V Style" wheels caught my eye so I got one set of them. I was trying to think of a car they'd look good on and I found this Civic R and thought "There ya go!" And then I thought I had another yellow Honda and knew where to look and grabbed the Prelude. Both have yellow bodies with red interiors. Pretty cool. I like 'em. Hope you do too!

Car show on Sunday...

My wife, our son, and I went out for lunch on Sunday. To a place with which we're unfamiliar. We pulled up near the street the restaurant is on and there was a "Road Closed" standing sign blocking the street, so we parked in a lot about a block from the restaurant. We realized there was a car show going on, so we walked through the car show before going into the restaurant. Cars were grouped by make and when we walked by the Lotus group, I took the last photo in this group. Then tonight I wanted to replicate the photo with a couple of my cars. Took the photo, dropped it in AI, asked AI to change the car's colors, and, voila! The first photo in this three photo series. Enjoy!

1971 Datsun 510 || Mini GT | Kaido✭House

Pulled this out to have it hanging outside the fire house and decided to take some photos of it being worked on and at the fire house. Hope y'all enjoy it!

'63 Studebaker Champ || Hot Wheels | 2011 New Models

Found this in a box in my man cave today. Belonged to my son and he's moving some of his collection on. When I saw that this had tires with lettering on them, I freed it from the "For Sale" box and shot some photos of it on the Sears House's front lawn. The white one is from a series of pickups with gas tampos and is a Premium offering. I really like the yellow one. It's a candy apple shade of yellow or super tiny metalflake. It's unique, for sure.
