Sub rule #2 is that the first photo of a post shouldn't be a packaged shot. So today, we bring you an existing Subaru from my collection. The second shot is a different car. A car I found today. And as soon as I saw it I knew... this is not a mainline. Oddly enough, it has the same wheels (different color) as the Premium casting in the first shot. And... I found two of them. The first one I found had a crinkled hang arm. So I kept searching and was rewarded with a second car with a mint card. Murf be happy today! Yep.

This car sits right in front of my on my desk. I knew the body came off the power train. Pretty cool. But I'd never thought of propping the body up so I did that tonight. I tried to remove the hand truck holding the body up using AI but AI couldn't do the job. See the last two photos.

When I first saw this race car, I was attracted to it. But not enough to throw it in my shopping cart. If fact, the first time I saw it was at Walmart and they had a price tag on the peg for $14 and change. See the last photo... I took it, it was real, not some AI modded fake thing. Later on, that same day, I saw it at Target and they had it right... $6 and change. Anyway... time goes on, I see it again and again. And I pass it by. But I was still attracted to it. Today was the day that it went into the shopping cart. Here it is! Glad I finally took the plunge. 😎

I coulda sworn this car was black when I saw it in the store. That's why I bought it. Thought is was black. I like black castings. Got it home and, whoa, not black! Some bluish green or greenish blue metal flake. Which... I do like. I wish it were black, but, hey, such is life. Enjoy! (I hope!)

Went to Kroger early this afternoon. Caught this Slingshot chillin' out front with no one in it. Took this short video to capture the blue LED light strips. Hope everyone enjoys this 3 wheeler!

EDIT: The third (last) shot was supposed to be a video. I assumed Reddit would post the video. Apparently not. Oh, well... another "D'oh!" moment. Sigh...

It is a classic shade used by Italian automotive manufacturers like Ferrari, Bugatti, and Lamborghini for light metallic grey paint finishes.

Found one for a reasonable price, for my budget, anyway. I had seen this one a couple of years ago, I think, and just forgot about it. Was browsing online and saw it again and this time I pulled the trigger. It showed up yesterday and I put this series together as soon as I opened the box. Set it up with two other cars that are, to my mind, either tiny or spot on 1/64. It looks great on the Matchbox transporter. I think Matchbox trucks run small so it goes great with "real" 1/64 scale cars. Anyway, hope everyone enjoys this beauty!

The Ford GT is by auto world and the Alfa 33 is by Kyosho.

Not as cool as Tommy's pinstripe Mooneyes cars (See one here.) That said, I do like this Beetle.

I've always liked this Majorette R8 from the Pink Slips line. The only thing that has put me off from sharing this one more frequently is that the cars in the Pink Slips line were rarely 1/64. This one is 1/58. A difference that is painfully apparent when this car is right next to 1/64 cars or figures. And the problem with this line was that the scale was not disclosed anywhere on the card. The only way to know the scale of each car was to buy it and look at the base of the car, where the scale is shown. I do love the paint job on this car. Metal Flake White. I tried to get the metal flake to show in these photos. It's visible in a few photos, I'm pretty sure. In any event, hope everyone likes this series. Yep!

Saw a few posts of Cadillacs. Thought I'd add to the fun. Was going to post most of my Caddy collection but couldn't find a couple, after many look-see's through my collection. Decided to go with these three. (Well, five, if. you count the two in the background...) To me, these are really fun castings. Enjoy!

I was looking for a different car when I stumbled upon this red HW's NIssan Silvia (S13). I thought, "Hey, wait a minute... isn't that Kaido⭑House Silvia I just got an S13 too?" An so it is. No clue if the HW's casting is straight stock, but compared to the Kaido⭑House, yeah, straight stock. 😆

On a late night run to the supermarket last night to get, what else, "bad stuff," I walked past the toy section and saw this on the peg. Never having seen one before, it caught my eye. The back end reminds me of an old school Z car. Anyway, tonight, when I was getting ready to shoot it, I asked AI if the Cadillac Celes-tee-oh was a real car or a HW fantasy car. AI set me straight right away. Not Celes-tee-oh... Celes-teak. That's when I finally realized what I thought was an O in the last character position was, in fact, a Q. There is, to my eyes, a teeny-tiny, barely visible, tail on the bottom of the last character. So, yeah... Celes-teak, y'all! Oh, yeah... a wheel swap with Monoblock wheels. Enjoy!

Saw this online and had to get it. Not usually a fan of light green cars but this one... oh, yeah... loved it as soon as I saw it. Kinda like that there's not a huge Kaido⭑House logo on the car's sides. Threw in two AI photos towards the end of the series. They are indicated as AI in the photo captions. Hope y'all enjoy this one as much as I do! Yep!

I used AI to change the logo and text on the transport to match the car's text and logo. It turned out pretty good, I think. Hope everyone likes this series; I certainly had fun putting it together and shooting it. Yessir, yessir!

I included the original photos of the first two photos in this series and duplicated the AI genned photos right after each original. I did not include the original of the third photo in this series because I think showing the two originals of the first two photos was enough to show the way AI changed the photos. I haven't fired up the lights in my Magic City buildings in quite some time. Tonight's the night.

I've been eyeing this one on the peg at my local Kroger. Today I grabbed it. I just love the details on Matchbox trucks like this. The one drawback, for a guy like me, who's looking to put his diecast into diorama shots, is these trucks are a bit smaller than most other 1/64 stuff. But I get past that by employing my imagination while playing with it. And play I do. I love setting up scenes for trucks like this one. Hope you enjoy it too.

I was psyched to find this glossy black SF90 in the bin at my local Kroger. (Supermarket) I wish the roof was opaque black instead of the translucent black. If I find another one, I'll try painting the roof of one of them. Happy Ferrari Friday to the clubhouse!

Saw u/Kitchen_Roof1410 's post about their beautiful Kenmeri Nissan (viewable here.) Reminded me that I've had two of them for quite some time and never knew they were called Kenmeri Nissans. Our three are modded by Liberty Walk, aka LBWK. But not all Kenmeri's are modded by LBWK. The Inno64 is quite detailed. The HW's is surprisingly nice for a $1 mainline car.
