It seems like a lot of old heads on jobs are not interested in showing new hires, helpers, or apprentices anything worth learning.

Am I just seeing shit or are experienced workers just not willing to help new guys learn useful skills for the job?

Oh and is it just me or has the hazing and shit talking gotten worse? Over heard some oldheads cussing a young boy out on a new house contrustion calling him lazy but every time I saw him he was carrying buckets of cement or scrap or something. Kid never sat still all day why these guys were having 4 or 5 smoke breaks
