AMA: I'm switching industries would love critique and advice
Hey guys, career switcher here, education to tech exec after 7 years. Sent 50+ apps, almost zero responses. Got my first interview call last week, so figured I'd get my resume critiqued by you all.
A mentor suggested I check out executive resume writing services since the transition looks complicated for mid-level. They said the best resume writing service for executives has structural tweaks that help. I ended up testing a resume writing service for executives after seeing their before/after samples, didn't want to spend a lot of money without proof it worked.
Not sure if I should have gone with resume writing services for senior executives instead since I'm not at that level yet. My biggest worry's that the education-to-corporate jump looks scattered. Halfway through a cert program now.
