Hey there

My husband is here on a stamp 4 visa.
We were going through ivf and missed the renewal window unfortunately and applied late.

As soon as we copped on we applied. It was 8 weeks.

I’ve messaged the portal and so has he. I’m trying to get a letter to say he can stay and work. Although they told him he didn’t need permission to work on a stamp 4 and his employer never asked for an update.

We’re also supposed to be travelling in a few days but we won’t if he doesn’t have confirmation from the ISD.

Has anyone travelled on an expired IRP but with an OREG number and confirmation of renewal application?
Is this enough or do we need an official letter?
