3 months of growth, does this work on my face? Would shaving make me look any younger/older? Appreciate any tips and advice!

24, been growing the stache for about 2 months now. Does it work on my face? Any grooming tips? I don’t really like how it’s so much thicker under each nostril, will that fix itself over time? Also what hair styles would you recommend, I only like to keep my hair off of my forehead but was thinking about growing a little bit longer too. any advice is greatly appreciated!
