Kitty only wants to eat dry food. What do I do?

Kitty only wants to eat dry food. What do I do?

This is my kitty Mabelle. I trained her to use communication buttons, so she presses “I’m hungry!” button when she wants food. I’ve been feeding my cats dry food for breakfast & lunch and wet food for dinner. I want them to eat wet food at least once a day because I’ve learned that it’s better for health and 100% kibble diet can cause obesity. My other cat is perfectly happy with this diet, but Mabelle is different.

When it’s dinner time, she presses “I’m hungry!” button. I give my kitties one can each. Mabelle eats her food a little bit, then presses “I’m hungry!” again. I move her bowl to another place and offer it to her again as if it’s new food. She eats a little bit, then “I’m hungry!” again. She presses “I’m hungry!” until I give her kibble. She’s done with “I’m hungry!” only after she’s given kibble.

I’ve tried wet food from many different brands, including the most popular ones, but she really only loves dry food. I’ve also tried mixing wet food and dry food and she only eats dry food somehow. How can I make her have a more balanced diet?
