Hey everyone, as many of you will know I've been developing an F1 card collecting app for a while now.

Very excited to post this. With Turbo Attax being officially debuted at Silverstone, one of our users has sent me over the checklist to import into the app. I've decided to actually make ALL checklists publicly visible without needing a beta code/account, so if you want to just see what's in the new turbo attax set, you can do so without needing to use the app! As of right now we are the ONLY site/app (not even Topps) to have this published. I'm sure it's going to change over time as Topps release their info which could differ from the first exclusive batch, but it's here for now and will be updated as changes come :)

There are also specific driver pages so you can see every card/set a driver appears in/on. Again, all completely accessible without needing an account.

The new website is live so we're genuinely almost ready to drop the green flag. But for anyone that does want to use all of the apps functions NOW (collection tracking, seeing who owns your grails, trades, marketplace etc), you can do so by joining our discord

Hey everyone, just figured I'd post a weekly check-in for those using Speed Vault as we enter the final week or two before a full launch. We've now officially climbed over 300 members which feels incredible and I cannot thank everyone in here enough who's taken a chance on it and has shown support over the last two months.

Every set is now live (including Topps Now) and while there's still the occasional bug or issue where Topps can't work out how checklists work, it's about as complete as it can be!

Perhaps the coolest thing I've refined is the rainbow tracker. It now shows on both mobile and pc on every card, showing you which parallels you need and of course...if anyone owns them to see if you can work out a deal/trade to complete the set! The bad news is it's now made me want to complete Tuuka Taponen and James Wharton rainbows which is bad for my bank balance 😂

Desktop notifications have been added for desktop use which is a fun addition, and the homepage has been tweaked to look much smoother as well as give you more information in terms of what's happening in the community as well as cards you may be interested in.

Naturally one of the biggest concerns we had was over sales. We've now had 4 successful transactions and 3 successful trades, all cards delivered safely and money paid securely which is truly an amazing feeling and just proof that this does work and is valuable to anyone chasing specific cards or wanting an 'all in one' app as opposed to one for tracking, one for collecting, one for selling etc.

On the marketplace side of things, you can now bundle items from a specific buyer, the listing/payment process is much smoother

We're NEARLY ready to go live, I'm just polishing the frontend of the site and making sure everything is stable & secure. But to even be at this stage feels so humbling. I can't tell you how grateful I am to everyone in this sub who's taken the time to check it out.

Hey everyone, just figured I'd check in with some of the big updates added over the last week. Firstly a massive thank you to everyone in here who's taken the time to check it out, we're nearing 300 users in BETA which is way more than I thought would be possible and it means the world that you're enjoying it!

I've added some big changes over the last week

First and foremost: Topps Now is FULLY collectable within the app - every single year! This was a very difficult task because of how sporadic the cards are with print runs and parallels etc, but there's finally a place to track your Topps Now collection!

The Homepage has been given a makeover, highlighting the latest updates to the app, your collection & the marketplace. Within that, there's now a 'for you' page in the marketplace, which generates suggestions based off of your collecting habits (driver, team, set, parallels etc) so you won't load into the marketplace to see a ton of cards that don't interest you.

The marketplace as a whole has been given a makeover to simplify and enhance the transaction flow. We've now had 1 sale and 2 trades so far, all have gone through smoothly (which stopped my hairline receding for a day!). Watchlists, private offers etc have all been added too!

Card bounties received an upgrade. If you want to set a bounty on a specific card, you can now do so with a price, and if someone has that card they'll be alerted and know how much you're willing to pay.

The global search now includes community members, making it easier to interact with others. The social element is a big focus moving forward.

We are basically ready to go live, but just working on some backend things (image storage has been an immediate problem lol)

Thank you again for everyone's support on this sub. I know there are a few apps but working tirelessly to have this stand on its own two feet. It's been a fun two months and I think having options is the best thing for something that this hobby never really had before, and it's genuinely exciting trying to find new ways to enhance/make collecting/trading etc that little easier and more enjoyable

Morning all! I thought I’d drop another speed vault update for those interested (pls let me know if you wanna hear less I feel bad posting so much in here but I get too excited 😂)

Last night we added the rest of turbo attax (2020-2024) and 2025-26 of topps now. Both of these are hard to track manually so having them fully trackable in the app is a huge step!

There’s been a ton of big updates (mobile is now way smoother etc) but the marketplace not only fully functioning but having nearly 200 cards listed is a sight to see.

Instead of taking forever sorting through piles on eBay, you can list cards within 10-20 seconds directly from your collection with images you already have! There’s geo filters, you can list directly for trade, and set bounties for cards you want. If someone else owns that card, they’ll be notified and see it under the bounties section (or you can try to make the first move)

The fees are nearly half that of whatnot/ebay, payments are through stripe so fully secure and off platform to ensure that no payment data is kept locally while being easy to raise disputes

We actually just had our first marketplace sale last night! So once the deal is all completed with no issues, the app will be ready for launch 😍

The f1 card app I'm building is at the finalllll stage before we go live, but the cherry on the cake is already here!

What I realized is that because there's technically a database of peoples' collections, wouldn't it be fun if you could see who owns a specific card, and work out deals/trades? Instead of waiting for a grail or a missing rainbow piece to appear on eBay, you can see who owns it already and try to trade for it or submit a cash offer!

This took a LONG time to implement, but we now have a fully functioning marketplace and some of the cards listed for sale are already stunning 😳

On your profile you can now add 'bounties' of cards you REALLY want. If someone else has that card, they'll be able to see that you have a bounty out for it.

There's also a 'trade block' where you can add cards from your collection into, all of which are then visible in the trade marketplace!

What this essentially becomes is an ecosystem where you don't just collect, but can actually track down grail cards as well as buying and selling.

At this point I'm honestly just stunned it's got this far. I had no idea it would get so much support and knowing it's something I want to use every day has made it incredibly enjoyable to build! Hey everyone! I'm actually really close to fully launching the F1 card app I've been building (finalizing one mega feature)

Just a quick update with some of the new features added :)

- BIG focus on community features. On top of badges/achievements, we now have 'collector scores' which show you what type of collector you are, and overall reputation where you get points for completing sets, picking up crowns (being the first owner of a card on the app) etc.

- I added a way to track groups of cards you might not necessarily own, or are hard to group instead of one big portfolio. So you might wanna track a rainbow of one driver, every card of Antonelli, or the helmet collection etc, you can follow community-made ones, or build your own! (Basically like little cardboard ETFS)

Sets added: Topps Finest 2024, Uno Elite 2025 (very hard to track so having it here is really cool), Paddock Pass, Lights Out, Turbo Attax

As I mentioned, there is a mammoth feature coming that I think will really set it apart from the others. But the app will always be FREE to use!

Hey everyone! I figured id post this as an update to what’s been going on with the app recently. (If you’d rather it be one thread, no problem at all!)

Beta testing has been going well. I’m in contact with eBay about the ‘finalized sale price’ access. And from there it’s stress testing, debugging, security auditing and doing some annoying privacy paperwork!

I’ll be sending out some more beta codes over the next couple of weeks so if you have commented before, keep an eye out for a rogue dm!

Hopefully launch isn’t too far away, but just wanted to thank you all for the support on this! My original post was mainly out of curiosity as I was building something id personally use. To know so many of you are excited/interested in it feels incredible! Hopefully we can get it over the line soon and we can do away with spreadsheets 😂❤️

Hey everyone. I started a channel a few months back and 7 videos in had my first real banger (20k views), my most recent upload from the other day has 3.2k and climbing. The channel only has 150 subs, but that number was 35 before the big upload. My channel is exclusively long form content.

Why did it spike?

The only reason these videos really performed is because I have 4-5 channels in different niches, a couple are quite big, a couple much smaller. But it meant I could hit the ground running, trust that my editing will keep retention very solid, and allows me to see what kind of thumbnail works for different niches and apply it when relevant.

A thumbnail style that worked for an NFL video was perfect for a different sport and the video took off. Had I not been building a portfolio of videos for 2-3 years, this new channel would’ve sucked.

If you have a new channel, YouTube naturally takes a while to find an audience for your videos. Keeping each upload within the same niche really builds that. So it’s probably going to seem like you’re fighting against the tide, but it really is a case of ‘nothing at first then all at once’.

I guess I’m making this post because people see new channels getting thousands of views and get frustrated it’s not happening to them. Those channels are probably ran by people who know the game inside out, can produce engaging content with high quality thumbnails without even thinking, but that only comes from experience and time

All of this to say, if you do have a new channel, it is going to take time and it’s going to be frustrating. But if you love making videos and are eager to learn, be self critical and adapt, you can cut the queue and make sizable leaps pretty quick when the stars align. The more experience you have the better and there’s no such thing as a bad video if you can learn from it.

My ‘small’ channel, feels like it has a leg up because of years of work I’ve put in before. And sometimes a style that might really be difficult to grow in one niche, would thrive in another

Just wanted to share this partly for motivation for people, and partly as a reminder that it takes years to blowup overnight, even if it looks like a new channel has done that. Just keep chopping wood and learning and the rest will follow

- now has eBay live listing prices for each card and takes the average of all listed. I don’t have sold prices yet, it requires a different API you have to get through a support ticket which is hopefully in process

- your portfolio price is based off the average eBay listings for the cards you have (obvious flaw is someone doing a 99p start or 10k start looking for an offer, but it’s something)

- can mark a card as sold and calculate real P&L that will track per card.

- has a set completion tracker. Working on achievements, user pages and badges etc, but GDPR might ruin that

Hey everyone, I’m in the middle of messing around with an app where I can track my personal collection because the alternatives are so expensive and lack a lot. I figured there might be a chance other people want to use it so happy to post it here when I finish

Feature ideas:

Live price updates as if it was a stock portfolio based off eBay sales

Ability to track not just the set but parallels/rainbows etc

Achievements (completing a rainbow, maybe a badge)

Personal collection (aside from sets) maybe people don’t want a random tsunoda base card being used in their portfolio of big hits lol

MAYBE a trade market concept where you can either set bounties for cards, list cards you want/or are trading and accept offers etc.

So far I have the databases for all chrome sets (working on eccelenza today) and a basic blueprint

Idk how viable it is or if there’s any interest but I’m having a blast building it out for my own use so figured I’d share it here
