Just to throw out my two cents, I have a thought about Billie's next album. She has made it known that the BE4 is over half finished, but in comparison to her past albums I was surprised to hear that they are that far along in the process, now of course once the songs are recorded it has to be edited, mixed and mastered which takes a lot of time. But the Happier Than Ever tour ended on April 4, 2023. The Hit Me Hard and Soft album was released on May 5, 2025. That is one year and one month to record and complete that album. The Hit Me Hard and Soft tour ended on Nov. 23, 2025. It has only been five months and during this time she spent, according to James Cameron, 3 months editing the concert tour movie working 6-7 hours per day. In the interview with the magician, during one of the tricks, she stated that she wrote a huge hint on the playing card, but when the card was turned over it was blocked by the word "Top Secret." Now to the point, I am wondering if the album might be a jazz album or an album of the covers that she did during the tour(s)? I wonder if she could have written "Jazz" or "Covers." That would help explain it being over half done, because she does not have to write the songs. Also, every time she sings a song from the jazz genre, many will comment about what a great jazz singer she is and call for her to sing more jazz. Finally, if you notice when asked about what songs are on her personal play list, it always includes jazz and songs from the great jazz singers. Just a thought...comments?
