A independent shop I called about doing a transmission fluid drain and fill on my 2022 Mazda CX-9 AWD Carbon Edition (52,000 miles) said they do a double drain and fill. Is that an okay thing to do with this amount of miles? Would it be best to drive a few thousand miles between changes? How much ATF would a double drain and fill likely need? Any special instructions the mechanics doing the job should know or any information I should rely to them to make sure they perform it correctly? Thanks!
