Has anyone won before with human centered research? I keep getting feedback from my advisor that my research proposal is to "health related" and might get denied because it is to human focused. Has anyone written a proposal that has gone through and talks about using humans for data collection? How did you structure it to not be so health related?
I’m applying for the GRFP this cycle and am currently in a first year masters program hopefully going into a PhD program after. My interest is neuroscience research and i’m nervous my NSF is a little to health related although i’m trying to focus it more on the science.
Anyways I think NIH has something similar to the GRFP but don’t know much about it. Curious if anyone knows of any other funding I could apply for. I mean I have a research proposal written and letters of recommendation so why not apply to other things if possible? They also don’t necessarily need to be as big as GRFP even just small funding things that would look good on my CV and help fund graduate research.
