I went to my appt, I got a verbal approval by the consul, but the status says "Refused"
Hey guys, I wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else.
I went to my visa appointment, received a verbal approval, and the consular officer kept my passport. However, when I check CEAC, my status says "Refused."
I understand that the embassy may still be processing my case, but next week it will have been a month since my interview. I've called and emailed them, but no one has been able to explain why it's taking so long or why the status says "Refused" instead of something like "Administrative Processing."
Has this happened to any of you? If so, what was the outcome?
