Is my Ergo wallet compromised? How did it happen?
It's been 2 years since I last opened the app, and I just had a sudden urge to check it today. My last transaction was 8 Apr 2024 based on my wallet transactions. To my surprise, my address has been drained of all the ERG in it!
There's two recent confirmed transactions on 3 May and 4 May, 2026. I haven't touched the wallet that time. See, I haven't shared my recovery keys to anyone; it's kept safe on my notebook (any of my old folks have no idea what it's about if they did find it). I haven't clicked on any dubious links as well related to crypto; heck I've even stayed away from the cryptosphere for years since stuff has tanked.
So, I wonder what happened? Has there been any leaks or something in the ERG or crypto community while I was gone?
