Anyway here’s a sequel concept
I was hoping to hear more ideas since I assumed that a good chunk of the people on this sub-Reddit want these games to end on a much more positive note though thanks for the ones that shared their ideas.
Anyway the basic thing is the game would take place right after the final war when cast started doing hero work again, a sequel that puts more of the focus on team up missions and expands the characters you can use in that, it’ll have an original plot where the main missions focus on you helping an original cast that stay with you consistently with your actions focusing on helping people rather than just simply beating bad guys, most obvious stuff will be an improved mission structure and more refined movement, multiplayer for this mode would also be cool but I haven’t figured out how that would work. Heroes diary will also make a return of course but it’ll at the very least cover much more of the cast if not everyone in the roster. Story mode will essentially be a really big archive battle but slightly more in depth considering the story is over I thought it wouldn’t make sense to just suddenly go back to where OJ2 left off. Other modes returning would be arcade mode functioning the same and photo mode with more features. Combat was the tricky part, I don’t want them to stray too far I’d much prefer if this was a refinement (but something I can say I would bring back PU2s with much faster animations). Another MAYBE feature would be making villain mode while not as big as Team up mission it’ll practically be the villain equivalent to everything else without it feeling forced in (and taking place before MVA) passed that point it’ll go from stretching it to REALLY stretching it. Anyway just wanted to share an idea hope you liked it.
