Cozy mystery series for an older adult

My mom is wanting a cozy mystery series that is not too rough.

She liked the Church Choir Mysteries and the Hope Street Church Mystery series.

What are some similar chill mystery series that she might enjoy?

Just to get an idea of what she likes:

She watches older stuff like Hawaii Five-0, Murder She Wrote, Hart to Hart, CHiPs, and Magnum PI.

Newer stuff she watches Blue Bloods, Hudson and Rex, and Castle.

Dragons

I love this wording, but the full quotation is actually:

Fairy tales do not give the child his first idea of bogey. What fairy tales give the child is his first clear idea of the possible defeat of bogey. The baby has known the dragon intimately ever since he had an imagination. What the fairy tale provides for him is a St. George to kill the dragon.

Evil is unspectacular...

This one always makes me think about how the most normal seeming people are capable of such horrible atrocities.
