RTX 5080 Vapor Chamber in Thermaltake Tower 300 (I/O Up), any long-term experience?
Hi everyone,
I'm currently deciding between an ASUS TUF RTX 5080 and a Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 5080 for my Thermaltake Tower 300. As you probably know, the Tower 300 mounts the motherboard rotated by 90 degrees, so the GPU sits vertically with the display outputs facing upward. I've read a lot about vapor chamber orientation affecting some GPU coolers, but most discussions are about older RTX 4080/4090 models or are purely theoretical.
I'm looking for real-world experience from people running a vapor chamber GPU in the Tower 300 (or Tower 200, since the GPU orientation is identical). For context, I plan to run the GPU at around 320–330 W (slight power limit, no heavy overclocking).
Thanks! I'd really appreciate first-hand experiences rather than speculation.
