Stay living at home or go living alone?
I’m a woman of almost 28 and I never moved out yet. I’m an only child with no family left.
My parents divorced a half year ago but the divorce is being very difficult.
My mom never worked and always took care of her parents (she’s also an only child) who were both ill and of me (I had several operations as a kid). My mom has also MS for 25 years but is stable and can do everything herself.
Now I have bought an apartment but I doubt if I would move in or rent it out. The apartment is located 5 minutes from my mom’s house. I have a small morgtage thank to my mom.
The reason I doubt is that we live in a very big home 250-300 m2 with huge garden. Sadly it’s not possible to make a kangoeroewoning of this.
I know that if I move to the apartment that she will have to move also in some years because the house is big and a lot of work but also financially it’s not easy. If I stay I can help her and also financial help her.
I feel so much pressure from society to move out. I also don’t know how I will feel if I’m 35 or older.
I don’t know what to do anymore.
