Running Keys from the Golden Vault (heist campaign) using D&D.
I'm worried about using D&D rather than BitD (or a similar narrative system) and having my players rely almost exclusively on skill checks.
After researching this topic, I'm also considering adding Flashbacks and Clock mechanics, as well as adopting a fail-forward approach.
I'll definitely explain that well-outwitted and versatile characters can prove more valuable than those focused purely on combat prowess, but most classes' features in D&D are built around combat, especially the first levels (Barbarian, Ranger...) Have any of you found a solution to this issue? Am I worrying too much? I'd love to hear from DMs who ran this adventure, but any advice is welcomed.
Thanks!
